It’s been a while since our last studio open day (almost 3 years!), so we’re having an open house again on Saturday 18th April (10am – 4pm).
This is your chance to visit the studio – you can see what we have on offer and learn about some of the stuff we teach. We’ll have some live demonstrations and you should get a chance to shoot some yourself (our model for the day will be the lovely Hayley).
The live demos will include both studio flash and natural window light (we’ve got nice options for daylight too – at least for the parts of the year where we have usable daylight!).
If you want to shoot on the day, please feel free to bring your camera, but it got pretty crowded last time so please travel light – you won’t need two bodies and umpteen lenses.
Now, if the thought of visiting the studio isn’t interesting enough on it’s own, our friends Johnny and Nathan from Fujifilm will be with us – bringing a whole pile of X-Series gear for you to play with too.
Even if you’re not particularly interested in studio photography, but are keen to learn more about the X-Series cameras you’re welcome to come along and talk to the guys and play with the cameras.
If you’re already an X-Series owner and have some questions, this is also your chance to talk to the guys who know the cameras inside-out (and if you’re not, you can see why so many of us are keen on them).
You’re also welcome to shoot with some borrowed Fuji gear – if you do, please bring an SD card (we’ll have some spare cards to give away, but not enough for everyone).
And it’s all free.
If you still want to talk about Fujifilm cameras, Johnny and Nathan will also be visiting the Calumet stores in Edinburgh (Wednesday 15th April) and Glasgow (Thursday 16th April).
This will also sign you up to our newsletter (not that we send that particularly often and you can always unsubscribe if it’s dull).
