We’ve booked Cassie Jade as our model for a studio art nude photography workshop on Sunday 28th April 2013.
We’ll work through a variety of different lighting setups… probably using a single light, maybe using two lights, but all the while demonstrating how the light works and interacts with the nude body (you’ll learn how to create nudes that are simply more than a flatly lit naked woman or cheesy glamour shots).
We don’t ask that you’ve shot nudes before, but some studio experience is a pre-requisite. This class doesn’t require a huge amount of gear – your camera does however need a flash hotshoe or PC socket to trigger the studio flash equipment. A single lens covering the equivalent of 24-70mm on a full frame dSLR (typically ~18-55mm on a crop sensor body) would be adequate. Some social skills are also useful to help put the model at ease.
The class will start at 10am and will run until 5pm (with approximately a one hour break for lunch). As with all our classes and workshops we limit the group size – in this case 6 participants – we like to make sure everyone gets the care and attention they deserve (and shooting time).
The price of £180 includes VAT. Lunch and beverages are provided.
