Tessa came to the studio to test as a model for one of the portraiture classes. Working with new models is part of the business, but when I’m teaching it is much easier to work with someone who isn’t a total stranger.
The objective was actually shooting some of the the class scenarios using flash, but once that was done we shot a short set using natural light – just for fun.
Unfortunately we’ve only scheduled Saturday classes just now which doesn’t suit Tessa, but I’ve booked her as the model for the October tutorial session I’m teaching at Edinburgh Photographic Society so it has all worked out well (never mind a relaxed shoot with these lovely shots).
