I had the opportunity to shoot with the ARRI tungsten lights at a John Tisbury workshop last month and finally gave into temptation.

We now have a pair of the ARRI tungsten fresnel lights (a 150W and a 300W). Both have barn doors and the fresnel lens allows the light to be focussed.

This shot of Katy is an example of a shot lit using a single ARRI.

These are ideal for portraiture and I’m looking forward to see how I can use them for boudoir and nudes.
