You’ve bought it (we hope!) and now you find yourself intimidated by the monster that is Photoshop? Or have you had it installed for a while and never gotten to grips with it? This class will teach you that while it is a beast, it doesn’t have to be feared. We make no promises of mastering Photoshop in this class, but you will learn the basic concepts and learn the techniques to immediately start to improve your images.

This is a two part course (each 2 – 2 1/2 hours). In the first part we will explain and demonstrate all the topics and techniques – in the second class you put it into practice.

… but we are just scratching the surface.

What we won’t cover in any detail:

  • Bridge and workflow
  • Filters
  • Sharpening
  • Smart objects
Requirements:

We will teach the class using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac – almost everything will applicable to CS5 too (the choice of Mac or Windows is irrelevant). If you are using CS3 or CS4 then there will be some differences, but most of the content will still be relevant.

Much of the material and many of the techniques will also be applicable to Photoshop Elements (especially the most recent releases), but the interface differences will be significant.

You will need your own laptop and a working copy of Photoshop for the second class.

Introductory Price: £85

This is a group class for 4-6 participants – we’ll teach this 1:1 if you want.
